12 months has passed so quickly, last time I posted I had moved after 26 years in the same home. I lasted 18 months at the new address and have now relocated to another home which feels closer to nature. No more moving for me.

During 2025 A book sleeve to hold the 10 stories was created. I am really happy with how it turned out. the company that made the sleeve did an excellent job.

a special illustration for the book sleeve cover which depicts Lawrence and his family was drawn by Lilly Falzon. Lilly is so skilled and her ideas are so creative. I gave her an outline of what I saw in my head and she surprised me with a fabulous picture that represents the characters in the books to a tee.

Lorikeet’s Book Series Edition 2, is now available on amazon.

a couple of things have been tweaked:

. the stories and illustrations are the same,

. we changed the cover of book 1,

. The titles are now displayed on the back cover,

. the copyright page has been updated.

What’s next? there may be something in the works, or I might just be retired. I had my 70th birthday in October and enjoyed a lovely celebration on the Atherton tablelands with friends and family.

I am so grateful that over 370 books have been purchased in australia, UK and Canada. I did posts on x (twitter), Facebook and had a video done for book 1, Lorikeet’s Garden Breakfast by storytime pup, which had 1,478 views.
