It’s now January 2025 all ten books are now complete and uploaded to Amazon, available for purchase in Print and eBook.

I mentioned reaching out to Tellwell to publish book 1 lorikeet’s garden breakfast (this happened in July 2024, i am now sorry i went forward with the exercise, 1 book has been sold to date) I learned these type of publishers are Vanity Publishers, they self publish to ingram spark who distributes the books. Lesson learned!

2 years and 10 books of fabulous illustrations. It took me 10 years to find this incredibly talented young lady Lilly Falzon. I realised today when I wrote the books, Lilly would have been 7.

Again I would like to mention my son Andrew, who has tirelessly worked at following up every little detail to ensure the books are of a high standard, he formats the wording, checks the grammar and the illustrations, liaises with the graphic designer, he likes everything done correctly, in order and won’t take short cuts. He has supported this project from the beginning and motivated me to get things done when I couldn’t .

The books we’ve produced are of a higher standard than Tellwell who does publishing for a living. To say Andrew is a skilled and proficient individual is an understatement.

Evolet Chen designed the cover pages and internal book set up, if you’ve seen a book you will agree she has put the books together beautifully.

Evolet is a very patient, talented, professional designer.

It’s been such a full on year, I don’t feel I’ve retired just yet. Let’s see what exciting things will happen in 2025.
